Applications for the UTS LSS Publications Subcommittee are now
This committee will consist of five members and their main responsibilities will involve editing, collating and contributing to the four editions of The Full Bench to be published throughout the academic year. Additionally, this committee will be responsible for assisting with the Camp Survival Guide and the Law School Manual throughout the summer before the commencement of the 2019 academic year.
The Camp Survival Guide and Law School Manual are two publications created by the Law Student’s Society that introduce new students to the inner workings of the Law Students’ Society and Law taught at UTS. The Full Bench is the Law Students’ Society’s quarterly publication that engages with topical legal issues and encourages contributions from students and faculty.
Students who are interested in being part of the subcommittee will need to be available to meet with the Publications Director shortly after being selected and free over the break. If you are interested, please reply to firstname.lastname@example.org with a Statement of Candidature by no later than 5:00pm on 26th February 2019. In order to be considered, the statement must be:
• Times New Roman font, size 12
• 2cm margin
• 1 A4 sized page
Details must include:
• Candidate name;
• Student number of Candidate; and
• Relevant experience in writing/editing
• Any film, audio, design interest or experience
